HERE WE GO...Fans are set for English Premier League Kick-Off!

20 English Premier League (EPL) teams will slog it out again, a gruelling 9 months that strech from Aug 07 - May 08 period, where season will come to a close to see who will be crowned the Champions -that receives 50 million pounds in televison revenue and prize money, which other 3 teams will join the champions to be involved in subsequent Champions League action, as well as the last three teams - that will get relegated to the 1st division. Btw, in case you don't know, the botton club will nevertheless get 26.8 million pounds.

At the end of season, besides the 4 Champions League places, there will also be 3 UEFA Cup places awarded to teams that finsished 5th-7th placing.

The top two sides qualify automatically for the Champions League, going straight through to the next stage. The team that finish third and fourth qualify for the the Champions League, but must play in the 3rd qualifying round. The winners are then admitted to the group stage. The fifth-placed team qualify for the UEFA Cup, as do nthe FA Cup and the League Cup Winners.
